belt of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF) and
the Japan Karate Association (JKA), and a graduate of the ISKF/JKA
instructor training program

Personal trainer
certified by the Cooper Institue for Aerobic Research of Dallas,
TX

Member of the
American College of Sports Medicine
Emphasis:

Safe and effective
methods of teaching karate techniques and physical fitness

*NOTE: with
consistant practice students will develpo physically
(strength, coordination, agility) and mentally (concentration,
awareness).
Dress:

Loose fitting
workout clothing - I will take orders for uniforms (karategi,
dogi, or gi) and the cost is $20

*Note: it is not
mandatory to order a uniform, however, if you dont you shoud
where something plain and white

No jewelry
should be worn in class
Rank:
Students may be
eligible to participate in a rank promotion exam if a
minimum level of skill is displayed by the student. Exams
are scheduled quarterly (March, June, September, and December).
I am a qualified examiner of the ISKF/JKA and the exam will be
given by me at this location. There is an addional fee
for the exam.
General Info:
Participation in
karate training should teach students more than kicking and
punching. The students should learn values that will shape
the develpment of their character as they participate.
This karate program emphasizes this character building aspect of
karate training in the following 5 principles:
character, sincerity, effort, courtesy, and self-control.
